Human trafficing can be tolerated

izardI have to report a crime, one of my relatives was treated like a slave. The owner had sold her to his friend for luxury goods.

Domna, aged below 18, along with two other girls was bought by Mikhailov Alexander Ivanovich. In order to buy these three girls from his neighbor he traded several hunting dogs. That happened in 1850s in Kazan Governorate, Kozmodemyansk district, and Domna is my great-grand-grand-...-mother. (6 generations back from now).
I've read that some African American are very sensitive about their ancestors being slaves. I am kind of in a same situation, I know for sure that all my ancestors were serfs/slaves until 1861st, and one was even traded for hunting dogs. (Some were also bought from a previous owner for a big sum in cash in 1780s) However I don't care, for me it is just a curious fact.
