Mock strawberry

izardIn 2009 when we moved to Munich I was surprised how weird do strawberries I pick in city parks taste.
Only today when I found this strange strawberry and normal one growing next to each other I found out it is only my boldness to blame.
What I thought to be a strange german parkberries is in fact mock strawberries. They are not even relatives!
Here is how it looks.
I found plenty in near Ostpark's open swimming pool today.
