Tripreport: Karlsruhe

Just got back from business trip to Karlsruhe.
The place I've been to is quite interesting. It is a first industrial zone I've been to where there is no visible security - I just got in and went to the building/meeting room without being stopped or checked. They have a small but good collection of antique computers. E.g. a portable computer manufactured 31 years ago in Germeny.

Designed one year before Osborne 1, which is usually called "first portable computer"
I had few minutes to walk through the city center in the morning, 3 small pics are under cut.
Tiny excavators - each about 1 meter tall.

Flamingo.

A stork circling around city center.

DB ICE was late as usual, this time by 90 minutes. To save money, they did not give vouchers in the train like before, but announced (only in German) that vouchers can be collected at service point. After German speaking passengers from a full train got to the service point to get vouchers the queue became so long that if I decided to wait I would get home next day. So I've skipped, DB you can have my ~30 euros to improve your bottom line.
