Trip report: Phoenix, Portland.
Nov. 19th, 2010 08:37 pmThis time in US I've spent one week in Phoenix, and another one in Portland.
Besides the demo I've mentioned in the previous post, the brightest spot was 2 days of hiking near mount Hood. The weather was OK by Oregon's standards.

Of course we've seen tens of spectacular waterfalls. I managed to climb into one of those.
On the way there, I managed to get as close to Chicago downtown as I could get.

On the first night in Phoenix I came across a place that reminded Schtirlitz movie.

Oregon's forests are quite similar to New Zealand bush. I've only missed tree ferns.

It was nice to get across with ppl from my team whom I usually see face to face just once or twice a year.
