Intel Vtune XE

izardRecently the "P*****l" project got a final code name at last. From now on it is called Intel Vtune XE. I think now marketoids did their job right: they only added some 2 letters to a well known Intel Software brand.
For those who did not know, this is a completely new Intel Vtune performance analyzer, rewritten from scratch. It had to be, as an old one has nearly 15 years history of updates and fixes. Now available from Intel software web site for free as 2nd beta.
I like old (classic) Vtune as my favorite tool of trade. But a new version is quite a good product actually already. But still I managed to crash it today while showing how it works to some customer via webEx :(
