Trip report: Lindau/Rorschach.

izardThis weekend we went for a short day trip to Bodensee/Switezeland.
We took a Munich-Zuerich train and stopped at Lindau. The Symbol of Lindau is it's harbor, with best view to it being from the water.
On the way there DB train was nearly empty.
On the way back ICE train was so crowded that they even closed the restaraunt so ppl could sit on the floor. We found a lovely place under one of the tables. I've stopped buying allocated seatings for ICE because 1. From my previous experience there are plenty of seats available. 2. ICEs tend to be late so starting from first connection you miss a train where you have paid for allocated seating any way.

We went to Switzeland's side of a lake on a boat, the 3 hours trip costs almost the same as Munich-Lindau-Munich ticket on ICE.
Lake is very busy, there was a strong wind and it was sunny and moderately warm - perfect conditions for sailing.
