Trip report: Helsinki
May. 18th, 2009 01:49 amJust got back from a trip to a customer. It was rather productive meeting.
Baltic airlines is good enough. Staff switches to Russian from English at the same moment they see my passport.
Vantaa airport staff is giving away chocolate and water to those standing in a huge line to security control, which is on strike.
Salmon soup is great as usual. Can't eat anything else while in Helsinki.
Most famous Finnish company is feeding us with "Vatrushki" (finnish word is too difficult to remember correctly) and croissants. While "Vatrushka" is rather refreshing, it's Finnish cousin is extremely nutritious, you just can't eat more then one.

On the back of the picture, there is a rack full with servers.
At last, I've bought a Saami Kuksa. I wanted to get one every time I'm in Helsinki, but they are rather expensive.
