German fireworks

izardThis year it was as loud as usual, but this time I don't sense toxic fumes, and pavement in front of our home is clean. Something must have changed..
2 days ago, I noticed a dad and his ~10 year old son buying fireworks. The boy put a 10 euro banknote at the counter, but a cashier told him that she is not allowed to sell fireworks to minors. So the dad lifted a banknote by ~3cm, and put it back. That was enough. Ordnung muss sein!
