I can tell that summer had finally started. There are quite a few signs. The power bills are down to ~50$ from ~200$. UV index is at 11 on the 1 to 11 scale. Bottle brush trees in our backyard (http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/14715/) produce more flowers than in winter, so now sparrows are feeding on them, not only fan tails (http://www.nzbirds.com/birds/fantail2.html).

And finally I've caught a second white tail spider in our home, this time it was hidden in dirty clothes bin.
I've carefully moved it to the backyard.

We've plenty of big spiders and some praying mantises in the home and around hunting for mosquitoes and other pests. ( http://izard.livejournal.com/17219.html#cutid1 )
But white tail spider is a bit different. http://www.dailypost.co.nz/localnews/storydisplay.cfm?storyID=3668083&thesection=localnews&thesubsection=
