Back home from US, Stanford walk
Mar. 16th, 2013 09:52 pmJust returned home from a business trip to US. This time I went there with Julia. Originally I planned that there will be a gap between meetings. 3 work days plus a weekend could have been a good holiday. Also it helped that a conference I was invited to speak at was held in a secluded lodge in Cascade mountain range.
We were staying close to Columbia river gorge, it was very beautiful and always misty.

Unfortunately plans changed, and we did not have as much time to spare as we hoped, because I had to fly to a Silicon Valley for another meeting. But there was a bright spot about it.

Julia and I are very grateful for Yury for organising a Stanford tour, and we thank everyone for their company and insight about life in the Silicon Valley.
