Rejections
Sep. 6th, 2012 03:19 pmJust got replies from two conferences: linuxcon europe and an internal conference that my submissions were rejected.
It is a first time in many years my submission to our annual internal conference is rejected so when I come to US to attend the conference in November I'll have plenty of spare time. It was not a big surprise for me however - subject of my work is not resonating with any cool tech's of the year - Android, Win8, Ultrabooks, mobile platforms, clouds, etc.
It is a pity I won't go to Linuxcon. Last year my rather weak session was accepted, and this time more polished and important work was rejected. Just a bad luck I think.
