Fish for dinner

We often buy a frozen rainbow trout in a supermarket to cook in an oven for dinner. When weather is calm I can see plenty of trout in Isar just in the city center. However I was under impression it can only live in rivers. Today we walked past a small lake in city center (50m x 5m x 1m), and I've seen plenty of trout there. The lake is just 1 meter deep and crystal clear so trout is clearly visible.


Nobody is fishing :) Just a family of Mandarin ducks is swimming around.
