Tuesday - spent in the air and in airports. Wednesday, Thursday(public holiday), Friday, Saturday, Sunday - spent standing 9 hours a day on a booth then business meetings till 10PM. Tomorrow will have to wake up at 4AM to get on the plane that will take 5h+9h to get home. Why I still like my job?
One of the most rewarding things, and it especially shows in the places like CES, is I can observe the trends in the industry. I love collecting a lot of useless information :)
But there are some other bright spots. Today was the last day of CES, so a driver who drives a free bus from hotel to the venue announced that he collects $10 for a ticket. Some believed him.
It was even more funny when he announced that using mobiles on board of a bus when it takes off and arrives is forbidden and for safety reasons he needs to collect all mobile phones and cameras. Many passengers, mostly from Asia actually gave him phones and cameras. On arrival, he announced that he has several new Iphones and Android phones to sell on auction, and only then everyone started laughing.
