I talked with my boss, my boss's boss, my boss's boss's boss before. I have seen my boss's boss's boss's boss's boss and my boss's boss's boss's boss many times. Until yesterday, I had no idea how my boss's boss's boss's boss's boss's boss looks like. Hence the story.

I was standing on a booth, showing off piece of software I developed. My boss's boss's boss's boss's boss's boss and two of his peers came. They had just a sign "Intel" on badges, and so did I. So I assumed they are some senior engineers or engineering managers, because they looked 60-something. They started asking technical questions, and from the first question I decided that they must be from business group X.

[ censored technical conversation, where I assumed they are engineers from group X, and they assumed I perfectly know who they are ]. After three minutes of fun, I started to suspect something. Not because of what was said, but because the way they talked with me. I then asked "And what business group are you gentlemen from?"

They explained who they are and were slightly entertained when seen my surprised reaction. I hope they liked the demo. However regardless of if they loved it or perceived it as useless or terrible I don't expect any reaction any way.
