Russian roads.

It is common knowledge that road quality in Russia is either poor, or fair but in later case roads should be repaired often. The root cause of this eternal curse is Russian climate that is deadly for road surface. Water freeze/melt cycle happens almost daily in autumn and spring, and even few times during winter.

I lived here in Munich through 2 winters and observed that local mild climate means that water freeze/melt cycle happens more frequently than in Russia - almost daily. Roads are still good however.

Rain in the Englisch Garten
