Trip report: Hamburg [2/2]
Jun. 11th, 2013 10:53 amDuring our 2 days in Hamburg we've been to two museums:
A maritime museum (very good, but the only picture I made there is probably illegal to share in the blog post).
And miniatures museum where I made plenty of pictures.
The area is huge, and to view it all you need hours.

By seeing it all I mean catching all interesting scenes like the one above that are carefully scattered across the landscapes by the designers.
Many scenes have an erotic connotation

This is the mildest one, I won't share others :) One thing I particularly like about Germany is their attitude in this respect. Most of the visitors are parents with small children, and they don't mind some very explicit scenes not too carefully hidden all across the exposition.
But most of the scenes are about some plain funny action:

Or this one:

Or this:

Most of the moving machinery are trains, cars and other means of transportation, but there are some other things like a conveyor belt in a candy factory that packs real chocolate bars,

That can be consumed by the visitors.
There is a change of day and night, and special marked places for photographers with best views.

Some installations are really huge and complex:

Imaging placing zillions of tiny figures in this pop concert scene!
This one is here specially for
vtsymbal, the cave diver.

All that is powered by normal compute racks.
