Trip report: Los Angeles
Nov. 18th, 2012 08:03 pmJust got back home from LA.
Spent there one week, but most of the time I was indoors learning new stuff about upcoming CPUs and performance tools. Only twice I performed extracurricular activities:
once freediving
here in Laguna Beach

and exploring a Crystal cathedral on a way to a shopping mall.

From certain angle part of it resembles Sauron's tower.
I never fully adapted to local time, so every morning I woke up at 5AM, chatted with colleagues from EMEA until I seen a sunrise from my window:

Then I went swimming to the pool to fully wake up. I was always the only swimmer there (only once my teammate joined), despite that gym was already overcrowded. Perhaps because it was +10C outside.
