Zagreb-Munich
Jul. 3rd, 2012 10:18 pmWe flown home on a turboprop plane, the flight was short so most of it we spent below 5000 meters.

This is Chimsee.
I was grievously violating "no electronics on take-off and landing" rule and got some pics of Munich.
Taking off in Zagreb.

View to newer (southern) part of the city.
Wasserburg am Inn.

Forest next to Munich is clearly divided to rectangles. Kwadratisch!

Approaching Munich:

Englishgarten, Bogenhausen on the right bank of Isar.
Munich from north:

Olimpiapark, BMW plant, german dachas.
Plane turns right for final approach, and crosses A9 autobahn going north to Berlin.

People living in those small villages must be successfully protesting against third runway in MUC

And finally we are almost landed

Have yet to make pics from south-western approach that goes above the Haidhausen. Will try to get a seat on the left side next time I fly to Spain, hopefully for Linuxcon.
