Just made an almost full day training/workshop for about 30 engineers. Job as usual, but this time it was a bit hard: I had a fever 38.5C, even after I had some aspirin, it was 39.5C before. It helps though that I never have any issues with my voice when I am sick, I don't know why.

I would not be able to do normal engineering work, but when doing the class-room presentation/seminar I feel the energy coming from the audience, and it helps. So it worked almost perfectly. Other reason is because the training was related to work I am doing for last 5 months. Hint: Intel SoCs: E6x0, CE4x00 will be very big things in 2011.

Many ppl tell they feel uncomfortable when addressing a big audience. I never had this issue: I can easily address and hold attention of 30-300 people. Strangely though I often feel not comfortable addressing a stranger in non-work environment.

A side note: my wife just told me two jokes about her study. 80% of her class mates are recent high school graduates and some times they ask weird questions.

One of the class mates asked my wife in a anatomy class that was in the morgue: "Is it true that in Eastern European countries and Russia anatomic pathology is not a medical subject and is studied in the same school with slaughters and butchers?"

Other one: One of the students asked a teacher: "If you have a degree in speech therapy, and you have a stroke, will your speech recover faster?" She must have chosen a wrong faculty, must have searched for a magic school.
