Playing SimCity IRL.

The place we've chosen for our holiday this time is a bit special: it is a big private town, built from scratch by Egyptian billionaire Sawiris to materialize his ideas about a perfect town. He essentially successfully played SimCity in real life for about last 20 years.
Most amazing part of it is that he won the game: he created a self-sustaining social, architectural and business structure. A lot of European and Egyptian people have chosen to make this town their home, and many guests are staying in it's 5, 4 and 3 starred hotels and villas for rent. Though tourism is important, it does not all evolve around it: there is some life besides e.g. education projects, some industry etc.
We stayed in Moevenpick El Gouna, and highly recommend it as a cozy, quiet place with great food, close to town center and Zeytoona beach.

It's own beach is very shallow (for about first 700 meters), and is divided to kiter's part and swimmers/snorkelers part.

A guy who sells souvenirs in a city center breeds a crocodile he brought from his home town Aswan. It grows slowly, and he hopes to sell it when it becomes bigger.

Few extra pics from under water...
This one reminds me swimming in lakes near Volga river in Russia.

That's the biggest fish I managed to get on picture. A huge electrical ray I met once was too shy and too fast.

Some times I had a feeling that fish is trying to tell me something:

This young Morena is not telling anything: it open it's mouth because it wants to eat something (seriously, it just breathes this way)

Corals can be of any color, really:

Some sea urchins:
