Jan. 2nd, 2015 08:38 pmThere is an official "integration" test called "Living in Germany". All 320 questions are available online, and during the test one has to answer 17 out of 32 correctly to pass.
Some of the questions (or rather answers options) are funny.
When was NSU in power, they ask? Along with the correct answer (1933-1945), there is an option: 1949-1963 (the time when CDU was in power and performed the economic miracle.)
What helps in passing a job interview? The correct answer is "education", but incorrect answers "networking" and "being a woman" are not always incorrect :)
The correct answer to a question "which is not a province of Germany?" is Elsace-Lothringen. I wonder why did not they use east prussia?
What is the main source of immigrants in Germany. They claim the correct answer is Turkey, but that was a tough one for me, other options like Italy and Poland is tempting - and I see more Italians here than Turkish.
