How to get to UK without a visa
Mar. 31st, 2014 02:44 pmI am still a bit angry about LHR layout, where they consider Ireland to be the part of United Kingdom, rather than a international destination. But this LHR mess with domestic/international flights in LHR enables an interesting twist.
Dear prospective illegal immigrants to UK, here is a tip: Buy a ticket for a British airways flight from a country of your residence to the country you have a visa for (or visa-free country) connecting in LHR, and another ticket for a local flight e.g. LHR->Manchester. In the new terminal 5, there are international and domestic gates located next to each other, so one can switch, and enter UK without a visa.
P.S. Use at your own risk, and still be caught because they will miss you on the first flight. Nevertheless should be possible with right connection timings :)
