This lovely patch of land where I picked 3 kilos of downy milk caps is just 100 meters away from Intel office.

3 kilos of mushrooms fit exactly into a 1 liter jar when pickled.
I liked this excerpt from German Wikipedia article about these mushrooms:
"Der Flaumige Milchling gilt in Mitteleuropa als leicht giftig, da er roh genossen wie viele scharf schmeckende Milchlinge Magenschmerzen, Durchfall und Erbrechen hervorruft. In Osteuropa wird er aber als Speisepilz geschätzt, nachdem man ihn durch eine entsprechende Vorbehandlung genießbar gemacht hat."
