Amazon.de does not have a feedback form for their service. So I tried to leave the following feedback for the item I recently bought from them. I bet it does not get published unless by accident so posting here for search engines to enjoy. I was buying everything (electronics, books, disks, music, etc) from amazon.de until now, when they decided to switch from DHL to Hermes.

May be it is a good item, at least I hoped so when ordering. Unfortunately Amazon decided to save few cents on delivery, and instead of sending by DHL as usual used a cheaper carrier. Like many other Amazon customers, I have a day job so when DHL courier knocks my door during working hours I am away. No big deal - they always leave a package with a small shop next door, or at a post office around the corner so I can collect it at my convenience.
Unfortunately when ordering at Amazon I am not given an option to select a delivery service. One which amazon chosen now wants me to listen music for quarter-hour at 42 cents per minute rate, and then speak with a call center worker who only speaks German, who will try to explain me that to collect the item I should drive to some remote suburb where they happen to have a warehouse.
As it is not really a review I have a hunch it will not get published, but this is the only way to express my disappointment with
Amazon service, as there is no form for feedback about delivery service.
Great job amazon, you saved few cents but lost a devoted customer. (Of course I will keep ordering work related items to my work address, but no more personal purchases)
P.s. It would have been great if amazon.de had an English version. It is bizarre that German companies like Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche bank, Deutsche Lufthansa all have English web sites for English speaking customers living in Germany, but not Amazon, an American company.
