Trip report: Marktheidenfeld
Nov. 18th, 2011 11:20 pmI like when it I can go to customer in the morning, and get home in the evening, without spending one or two nights in a hotel. Alas, that only happens when the trip is within Bavaria and surrounding lands.

Still had to fly 30 minutes to get there. Train ticket would have been a bit more expensive (that also seems unusual, but Germans are not surprised that Lufthansa is often cheaper then Deutschebahn)
One thing that still amazes me about Germany, is that there are so many high tech companies located in small towns e.g. this Marktheidenfeld. In Russia almost everything important happens in Msk, Spb, Nsk, NiNo. In NZ that was Auckland+Welli+Christchurch. Here in Germany I have never been to customer in Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt yet. It is always small towns/villages.
