Just got N9 from Amazon.de. It is not planned to be sold in Germany, but somehow amazon manages to ship it probably from Austria.
I've ordered the phone 4 weeks ago, than after one week I cancelled and re-ordered because price was dropped :) Now I have to get u-SIM card. This is not very easy. I called Vodafone support and they told me they will only send me one if I quote a special number they include to the statements. I dump statements to trash every month. The last one I dumped two weeks ago, so have to wait for two more weeks to order a SIM-card.
Everything works fine so far, I got root shell in 5 minutes and few clicks. I don't work on Meego related projects any more, but it is still great to have open Linux in my handset.
~ # uname -a
Linux RM6962.6.32.39-dfl61-20112910 #1 PREEMPT armv7 GNU/Linux
Thanks to Nokia, especially N9, Maemo and Trolltech teams!
Upd: One of my colleagues looked at it, and instantly ordered one from Amazon. Alas, there is no way to get commissions.
