Just got back from Portland, OR. There were few interesting things at work, and I will write about few of those in a few months when they become public.
I do not really suffer from a jet lag any more. I read somewhere that one cannot get used to it, but I think I did. First few times I felt quite bad, but after few dozens trans-ocean flights it feels nearly OK. To make things better, in few minutes will try a melatonin I've bought in PDX airport store. A small bottle looks like typical magic potion from Diablo or any other fantasy RPG. May be that improves placebo effect.
In Portland it was all as usual: on Sunday I rented a car and drove few of my team mates to Columbia river gorge, parked down Multnomah falls, and then hiked up to Devil's Rest summit. I wanted to go up to a Larch mountain summit, but we decided not to go that high, voted 3 against 1.
Near the Devil's rest summit there are some blueberry fields.

My colleagues decided that it is not safe to pick and eat wild berries, and I had different opinion. I ate few ounces and it was tasty and healthy.
All the way up and down was through well paved paths.
