Stafelsee

We had friends from Zürich and London coming to our place last weekend, so we had a part of Sunday when we could drive together to some nice place towards Alps. That was a tough choice: there are plenty of great places around. The constraints were time (8 hours) and heavy Sunday traffic.

We all like swimming so decided to go to one of the lakes. We were choosing among Chimsee, Stafelsee and Spitzingsee. Out of those three, I suggested Stafelsee as the warmest one and not too crowded.

I knew approximate location of a place where one can hire a rowing boat.

It took us about 15 minutes to walk to that place from a parking lot, and we've seen plenty of hangars with boats.

There was a big line of ppl waiting for electric or pedal boats, but there was no shortage of small rowing boats. We've taken a bigger one to fit five ppl - two rowers and 3 ballast backup rowers.

I've seen couple of girls sunbathing nu on cliffs. I even had the right lens on a camera, but I did not dare to take pictures because I respected their privacy my wife was in the boat too.
