izardDuring last 4 years I was working mostly on embedded projects in cooperation with customers in industrial, energy and telecom areas. There were no revolutionary technical changes recently, but now the field has a new name: Internet Of Things - Smart Factory, Smart Energy and Smart City. This is 146% cooler than embedded! Of course this magic of renaming somehow fails at engineers, but works fine for most managers and even better for marketing folks.
