Julia just made a very special dinner (without any occasion or cause).


XIX century variation of Olivie's salad, New Zealand lamb with vegetables and mashed potatoes.

My stake was finding one of variations of Lucien's Olivie from late nineteen's century cooking magazine in internet, cooking mashed potatoes and shopping finding ingredients for the salad (was lucky to find quails quickly, gave up on finding hazel hen)s.
