Trip report: Croatia
More on our recent holiday. Overall Croatia felt like home, for me and Julia. Safe and quite. There were no touts and selling to tourists was nowhere aggressive. That was a striking contrast to most of tourist destinations we've been to. Prices were a bit cheaper than in Munich.
We decided to stay close to Dubrovnik, but only been there once, spent about 6 hours there.
This was our first completely unorganized trip. (By unorganized I mean we only spent about 20 minutes planning and booking together just 2 days before the flight.) So the only flights we could get for reasonable price left us 10 hours in Zagreb.
